Ride Through Hagrid's Pumpkin Patch
Located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™
Enter the Care of Magical Creatures grounds and pass by Hagrid’s hut, where you’ll hear Fang barking. As you make your way onto the ride, Hagrid gives instructions on the proper way to approach a Hippogriff. A Hippogriff is a magical creature that has the front legs, wings, and head of a giant eagle and the body, hind legs, and tail of a horse. Flight of the Hippogriff™ is a family-friendly roller coaster that spirals and dives around the pumpkin patch, and then swoops past Hagrid’s hut.
Physical Restrictions
This ride employs safety restraints which may restrict certain guests from riding due to body shape and size. Guests whose waist line is at least 40” or greater may not be accommodated on the ride and are strongly encouraged to try the test seat provided at the entrance of the attraction to ensure their ability to ride. Refer to our Rider's Guide for Rider Safety and for Guests with Disabilities
When humans approach Hippogriffs, proper etiquette must be maintained to avoid danger.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione first learn of Hippogriffs when Hagrid™ introduces students to one in his first Care of Magical Creatures class.
