CHEERS!

Okay. Deep breath. Shut your laptop, toss the briefcase across the room, and kick off your shoes. You made it to the only thing better than Friday: THE WEEKEND. And between catching your breath after the bygone week and prepping for the week to come, you gotta grab a seat at the bar and give a little toast, whether it’s to your friends, your family, your team, or –what the heck — yourself. And CityWalk® has plenty of options for where to hang, and even more options for what to drink when you finally get there.

We narrowed it down to eight signature drinks throughout CityWalk® to raise a glass to your end-of-week vibes and make any occasion a special occasion. And of course, these are just suggestions… feel free to explore the menus and chat up the bartenders. Trust us: finding your fav CityWalk® drink is a weekend project that won’t feel like work.

Perfect Margarita - Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

Drink on CityWalk

It takes a lot of confidence to call a drink “perfect,” but that confidence is a bit contagious when you’re sitting at the “5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar” at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at CityWalk®. Listen to a classic tune, tap into some island vibes, and raise a glass of the strong, salty Perfect Margarita, made with tequila, triple sec, orange curacao, and lime juice, on the rocks. You don’t have to be a Parrothead to talk about this drink the rest of the weekend… but it doesn’t hurt.

Lt. Dan’s Pomegranate Punch - Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Drink at Bubba Gump's on CityWalk

Ahoy, there! Here’s a drink that will surely float your (shrimping) boat. You’ll run faster than Forrest Gump to this combination of Malibu Coconut Rum, Castillo Silver Rum, DeKuyper Pomegranate Liqueur. This popular drink packs a seriously flavorful “punch,” making it ideal for party animals like you and your crew. Order it in a souvenir glass to take home the memories of your awesome night out.

Spicy Michelada - Camacho’s Cantina

Drink at Camacho's on CityWalk

Are you looking to bring a little south-of-the-border sensation to a hearty meal or a happy hang? Add a little heat and some dense texture to a light beer and you’re ready to join a Mexican tradition with this Spicy Michelada. Dos XX lager, clamato, lime, tabasco, worcestershire, salt, and tama roca come together to form some fiery fiesta fuel.

Southern Jam - Hard Rock Cafe

Drink at Hard Rock Cafe on CityWalk

If you want a tart, fruity taste with a Southern boost of liquid courage that’ll get your head bobbing along with some classic Southern rock, grab a Mason jar of the tastiest moonshine north of the Mason-Dixon. Monkey Shoulder whiskey, Black Cherry Real, fresh blackberries and lemon juice will make this a mixture you can’t quite spread on toast, but can certainly toast your friends with.

Tokyo Tea - Wasabi at CityWalk®

Drink at Wasabi on CityWalk

Long Island and the Pacific Islands combine to make a cocktail with a kick… and a twist. A premium Long Island Iced Tea with tequila, vodka, gin, rum, and orange liqueur adds a Midori liqueur mix for the Tokyo taste that takes this drink to the next level. There’s strong, and then there’s superheroic… and that description fits this to a “T”.

Red Sangria - Samba Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge

Drink at Samba on CityWalk

Treat yourself to a weekend drink that lets you sip like a Brazilian. Red wine, vodka, orange liqueur, peach liqueur, raspberry liqueur, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, sour mix, lime juice, and fresh fruit… this is already a party with plenty of color. Pair this with a Samba feast and you’ll want to invite everyone you know. Get the white wine version for a slightly sweeter situation.

Little A’ This, Little A’ That Flight - Karl Strauss Brewing Company

Beers at Karl Strauss on CityWalk

Nothing says “Cheers” like beers, and Karl Strauss has plenty of flight options so you can sample diverse tastes and share with your crew before committing to your favorite… or a completely different quartet! You can customize your four different 4 oz samplers for each flight, but for a good combo of classic tastes and more daring experiments, try one of their rotating flights that change throughout the seasons. The Little A’ This, Little A’ That, for example, covers a wide flavor range with Follow the Sun Kolsch, Columbia Street Amber, Red Trolley Ale, and Wreck Alley Imperial Stout. But since they change the flight selections all the time, ask your trusty serving staff and they’ll send you “flying” in the right direction!
